We looked at students’ signs for their various stores. Some needed correction and some need to be larger and some need to be in Japanese!

Talked through Iimashou ichi and Iimashou ni, stores and counters. Then students listened　（and took notes） while Sensei said roughly the following:

あした　は　はるやすみ　です　ね。わたし　は　らいしゅう　の　月曜日　に　かいもの　を　します。　いいましょう　一　の　店｛みせ｝を　見て　下さい。　月曜日　に　わたし　は　花屋｛はなや｝に　行きます。はな　が　だいすき　です。　チュウリップ　を　かいます。　チュウリップ　は　一本　百　円　です。

はなや　の　隣　に　本屋　が　あります。　でも　わたし　は　本屋　に　行きません。どうして　行きません　か。わたし　の　うち　の　中　に　本　が　たくさん　あります。本　を　かいません。

おきし屋　に　はいりました。　チョコレート　の　おかし　が　すき　です。
チョコ・キッス　は　いっこ　十円　です。　わたし　は　十一こ　を　かいます。

後　で　さかな屋　に　行きました。でも　はいりません。せいと　の　カリアさん　や　D.J.くん　や　なおみさん　や　ママドゥくん　は　さかな　か　きらい　です。さかな屋　の　隣　に　パン屋　が　あります。パン屋　に　はいります。チーズケーキ　を　買います。たかい　でしょう。チーズケーキ　は　一つ　千五百円　でしょう。

Homework is a shopping diary 買い物｛かいもの｝の　日記｛にっき｝ of next week. Write about how you went to two stores each day of the week and bought something in each store and how much it cost. Each day must be different. If you don't know the name of a store, look it up in your dictionary or write the name in katakana. For example:　メーシズ。
