JAPANESE 3 -- First period

This class does not meet on Block Two days.


Explanation for talking about kanji:
Kanji compound example –人口
えい語　で　いみ　は　Population　という　こと　です。
かんじ　は　「ひと」　の　じん　と　くち　の　「こう」　です。








JAPANESE 1 – Fifth period

Writing hiragana in new shaped formats:

はね　Jump
らせん　Spiral
ひので　Sunrise and　ひぐれ　Sunset (semi-circular)
まっすぐ　Straignt (ahead)
なみ　Waves
かくすい　Pyramid

Also, しらとり、Animal Shiritori on paper。
Squirrel, Whale, Cow, Ostrich, Camel, Deer, Skunk, Crab, Horse, and Chicken are animals called for.

Finish both these writing-practice assignments.

JAPANESE 2 -- Sixth period

Today we practiced certain kanji and saw stroke order by overhead projection:
上、下、半、時、万、千、百、曜(Students must be able to recognize and read this last kanji, but do not yet have to write it.)

Practice writing Katakana by vowel categories rather than by consonant rows – new shaped-format.　　FINISH　FOR　HOMEWORK.

Each student must give a one-minute verbal weather forecast for the Japanese city chosen -- like a radio weather announcement. No text may be used. Only notes are permissible。
